The Handy Retiree is here to help you with all of your minor residential and commercial repair and handyman task needs!  We’re also happy to help If you feel pretty confident about what you’re doing but you want an experienced second set of hands and eyes to work alongside you.  If we can ever find a more simple and affordable solution for you, we will be the first to let you know!  We’re here to make everyone’s life easier and find cost-effective solutions. You’d be surprised how often you really need nothing more than a little solid advice.

Well, I’ve earned a living making furniture, creating and installing architectural millwork, and building cabinetry and cabinet doors.  I launched and recently sold a chain of hardware stores in the Triangle so I’ve advised tens of thousands of happy customers on how to resolve their home’s ailments and make improvements.  I also earned a living working for IBM and Fidelity Investments in various professional and leadership roles.  I’m retired, but not really.  I enjoy being helpful and I enjoy working with my hands. I’m here to work hard and satisfy the people of my community!
